The sirloin steak, bell peppers, and onions paired nicely with a light cucumber salad! I’ve included the steak recipe below—it’s quickly become my favorite marinade for steak kabobs:
Marinade
* 1½–2 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1½-inch cubes
* ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
* ¼ cup soy sauce
* 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
* 3 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
* 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
* 1 teaspoon black pepper
* 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
* 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
Directions
* Whisk together all marinade ingredients.
* Add the steak cubes and toss to coat evenly.
* Refrigerate for 2–4 hours.
The sirloin steak turned out incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I paired it with one of our family’s favorite cucumber salad recipes, which comes from my great-grandma Madeleine, whom I was named after. It made for the perfect Friday night dinner!
