We’ve got pigs on the books and will be making calls soon to get processing lined up for September — fall is already looking tasty around here. 🥓

We’re still cranking out all our sauces AND we’ve got a whole new lineup of jams, jellies, and fresh sauces dropping this week. Keep your eyes peeled for that announcement because it’s a GOOD one. 🫙

This week’s new goodies were coconut almond bark macaroons, cherry pie cookies, and cinnamon roll cookies… and y’all showed up in the rain Thursday at the Rustburg Ruritan Community Farmers Market and STILL cleaned us out. Sold out again & BLESSED! 🥥🍪🥧

We’re BACK from vacation and rolling straight into a packed week at the Rustburg Ruritan Community Farmers Market!

We are coming in with fresh baked goodies, more of our famous pineapple crack, and all your favorite sauces.

We were planning to bring beets, but everyone around here is sold out — so we’ll have another batch made ASAP. 😖

We can’t wait to see your smiling faces and kick off our first market back with a whole lot of community, sunshine, and good food.

Headed home, y’all — ETA 2:15 AM. 😅

Vacation was a blast, but nothing beats our own bed and all our animals waiting for us. Bitter sweet heading back, but it’s time to return to reality and routine.

This week’s homestead agenda: yellow relish, beets, fresh bread, and maybe a few new recipes if we’re feeling brave. But first… REST. Because that vacation bed? Absolutely not.

Can’t wait to be home. 🐓🐐🐾

We’re rolling into this Friday with full hearts and so much gratitude!!

Yesterday’s market was such a blessing — thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, or even just shared a smile. This community lifts us up in ways you may never fully see, but we feel it every single day.

Today is a special one for our boy Riot. After his emergency surgery, he’s finally getting his staples removed AND taking his last dose of medication. He’s been such a tough, patient boy through it all, and the timing couldn’t be better with vacation starting tomorrow. (FINALLY)

But TRULY… your support, along with the steady strength of my VERY hardworking husband, is what makes this whole life possible. Homesteading, running our market booth, homeschooling our babies — it all works because of the love, teamwork, and guidance we have within our family and from this community.

We’re grateful for every prayer, every purchase, every kind word, and every bit of encouragement. Thank you for being part of our story and for helping us raise our kids in a life filled with purpose, hard work, and heart. 💛

Who's excited for tomorrow's market?? The weather is looking great and we have a nice line up of vendors for you!! Here is map to your favorite vendors for tomorrow. If you have a favorite vendor, stock up this week, some of us are on vacation next week!!
Plan on grabbing you some dinner from the one and only Phillin Philly, follow it up with a refreshing drink from Holy Groundz Coffee . While you are sipping your drink and walking off your dinner, visit all of these amazing vendors that work hard for each and everyone of us to bring us quality and affordable products!!

It’s a busy Wednesday on the homestead, y’all. The kitchen smells like lemon bars, banana bread, and a whole tray of pepperoni pizza bread that keeps mysteriously disappearing 👀

We’ve also got mint chocolate–covered pretzels, almond bark pretzels, and maybe even some cookies if my ADHD stays in line long enough to finish them.

We’re packing for vacation, baking like crazy, and getting ready for market day tomorrow. Who’s coming to see us?
