I'd say I'm a Jack of all trades- this is one of my trades!
Fun fact- I ran my own Cakery from home for about 10 years! And since deciding to put my energy elsewhere, I only open up my baking calendar a few times a year! Valentines Day and Mother’s Day are 2 of them. If you need some out-of-this world sweets and some beautiful hand tied bouquets message me! I'd love to make your gifts special. Dont settle for store bought generic cupcakes (thats lame!) 😉 message me!

Pray for us 🙏

Some times life does this thing where it asks something very specific of you. And some times you dont get it right. Maybe not even the second or third time, and eventually God comes in and forces you to listen to what is being required.

"We just can't catch a break"
I dont know how many times I've felt that or said that in the last year or two. But what I do know is that it means something different to me now.

Ian caught his break he's been needing. He caught it good. His right clavicle is completely broken off and lodged underneath itself.
Now he has to actually listen to his body and give himself all the grace he can. He doesn't have a choice not to anymore. A little silver lining.

He is currently in surgery while I wait anxiously and patiently for them to screw a titanium plate in to his collarbone. 😣

Being in this profession- his ability to use his hands is obviously essential. So please, if you see this post, say a prayer for him and our family. We need all the love and support we can get right now.

Many things have transpired since our last dinner- but I assure you we havent forgotten in the least about our next one, we will just have to postpone it most likely until early spring. I will be updating you all more often on what we are working on and how his recovery is going!🫶

🤔When is the fall dinner, you say??

Life has been doing its thing- and we all know what that means. We've all been there.

Ian and I have been going through some major transitions. Emotionally, spiritually, physically.
And while I am humbly grateful for these times because I know on the other side there is a new version of us and a new door opening for all the things we could ever want. It is however, incredibly painful at times.
To be able to reinvent yourself you must first dismantle the old version. And some times that comes as a swift explosion that you werent ready for.

And so that "some times" is now.

Slow breaths, slow breaths.

This being said- we are now starting the beginning stages of the fall dinner. It may be later in the season than we hoped for but alas, we are still here. So! If youre wondering about this date, not to worry we are on it and will be able to post a specific date soon enough.

We love you all so much and could not be more grateful for your support ❤️
Can't wait to see you at our table!

We learned a lot from our first dinner! I worked for months and months trying to perfect every detail of how it would all come together.
This dinner is proof that manifesting your dreams is possible. If you can visualize it and set intentions, you will have it.

🌅This sunset was so incredible. The most perfect view and ambiance complete with candlelight and a hanging floral installation that felt like a real secret garden.
I could not have been more impressed with how it all turned out, it was my vision in real life.
We hope you all loved it as much as we did. 🫶

After everyone had left, bellies were full, candles were still burning, I sat down with my sore feet propped them up. The last bottle of wine had just one glass left in it. So I grabbed a glass and poured it for myself and looked around at everything we created. Man.. what great feeling.

We really did it. We did this thing that we've wanted to do for years and somehow some way we pulled it off.

I dont think most people realize just how much work goes into an operation like this but it is quite extensive and taxing in so many areas. That being said, I dont believe it would have been possible if we didnt genuinely love to cook, and nourish, and create like we do. A passion is the best driving force for something that may seem impossible to achieve.

I cant wait to show you all the rest of the evening captured through beautiful photos.
I have to give credit to our photographer Nichole Colleen Ogle. Shes been essential to this dream of ours. Without her our mission would not be complete. Great photos are truly essential. ❤️
