Build your own bouquet!!

We’ve gotten so much love lately with our flowers that we decided to set up a flower bar at Black Sheep Market!

Get creative with local flowers fresh off the farm and build a bouquet for a friend or yourself.

What’s blooming on the prairie:

Prairie coneflower (Ratibida columnifera)

We had an open winter and a scary-dry early spring. Thankfully, the rains came a little later and greened things up. The coneflower is really lighting up the prairie now. We love it because it looks like little dancers in the wind. Historically, it was used by Native Americans to make a tea to cure aches, relief for rattlesnake bites, and for yellow dye.

It’s been a slow-growing spring, but we’re ready for blooms!
