I made up these mini hives using queen cells. By the time I had my work done and loading them up into the car the first queen was born as I could hear her piping.
They say a new queen pipes as a war cry to challenge other potential queens in the hive to a fight of their lives with only one winner, as there's only room for one queen in a hive. She would also search and kill other unborn queens. It's not everyday you hear piping, and when you do it's always a special moment!!!

The bees are turbo charged bringing in the nectar by the truckload during these gorgeous sunny days!!!! It's tough going trying to stay one step ahead of them that's for sure!!

It's happening!!!!....Bramble is flowering, the sun is shining, bees are in great form.....means only one thing.......HONEY......let the honey flow and bad back from heavy boxes begin!!! 🐝🍯
