So far this year, we've harvested over 100 POUNDS of honey from our little apiary! To say we feel blessed would be an understatement. Every jar represents countless hours of work. Not just from us, but from our incredible bees. We couldn't be more grateful for another sweet season. We'll have one more harvest this fall before the bees settle in for a well deserved winter rest.

If you'd like to get your hands on a pound of our raw, local honey, send us a message! We offer both pickup and local delivery.

And if you're stopping by Sundance Tile & Stone, be sure to grab a bottle while you're there. It'll look just as good on your new countertops as it tastes in your morning coffee. 😉🍯

"A big swarm of bees was found by the contractor under an upper deck during some repair work at our condo complex. We called Beasley Apiary and by that afternoon two gentlemen had the situation well in hand. Chad was super friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the procedure and then professionally went about capturing the queen and getting the colony introduced into a transport hive box. The team returned the next morning to retrieve the box and also plans a follow-up to deal with any lost scouts that come back looking for the swarm. Beasley Apiary, kudos and thanks for a job well done for Ricefield Condos." -Lynn Heronen

During extractions, a safe relocation is always the goal, and yesterday we got that done quickly! A huge thank you to these wonderful people at Ricefield Condos for doing their part in ensuring both the bees and humans can live peacefully.🐝

This past weekend, we responded to a call about a hive that had completely taken over a homeowner’s shed. & wow, they weren’t kidding! After hours of careful, patient work (and yes… a whole lot of stings 😅), we were able to safely remove the colony and relocate them to our apiary. Now they can keep doing what they do best, making our community a greener place, without posing a risk to people or themselves. 🌻🐝🤍

We’re always so thankful for the opportunity to help both our community and our bees. If you’ve spotted a problem hive, don’t panic, give us a call at (912) 602-2882 and we’ll take care of it! Our bees are some of the most important insects we have! Let’s protect them together. 🤍🐝🫶🏻

Heyyy, honey 😍🍯🐝

Here’s a close up look at us carefully working through a landed swarm & gently searching for the queen. Once we found her, we placed her safely into a queen cage inside the hive box, & just like that, the rest of the colony knew exactly where their new home was. 💛 🐝 listen to how loud they are!

Today we were called to help rescue the remaining bees from a swarm relocation where part of the colony had been left behind. Thankfully we were able to safely gather them so they could rejoin a hive. Proper swarm removal is super important to the survival of our bee friends! 🐝

Give us a call at 912-602-2882 for safe & friendly bee colony extractions & relocations!

Bonus photo of one of our colonies shortly before it swarmed! As you can see, it was getting a little crowded in there.

Our first swarm of the season! 🐝

Swarming is a natural part of a honey bee colony’s life cycle. It can happen for several reasons like overcrowding or an aging queen. It’s how bees create a brand new colony.

If you spot a swarm, don’t panic! Honey bees are usually very gentle in this stage. Give us a call and we’ll help them safely relocate to a new home.

Your local pollinators will thank you! 🍯💛🌻
