Farmers market tomorrow in New Braunfels from 9-1. The summer garden is still cranking out fresh veggies everyday and the purple hull peas are starting to kick in. I’ll have a limited amount of those tomorrow in addition to three kinds of squash, fresh dill, potatoes, cucumbers, sweet corn, peppers, parsley, leeks, cherry tomatoes, sunflowers and eggs.

The bloody butcher corn is getting closer to being ready. Once matured and dried, it will then get ground for grits/cornmeal. This heirloom dates back to the 1800s and is even used in the whiskey/moonshine industry.
