There's something so sacred about slowing down and creating something that our ancestors made!
An invite to see vanilla as more than just a baking ingredient....
Our ancestors knew that the kitchen was often the first apothecary.
While most of us think of vanilla in cookies and cakes, one of my favorite ways to enjoy it is by adding a splash to my morning coffee or in a cup of herbal tea.
There is something deeply nourishing about taking an ordinary cup and turning it into a moment of intention.
Every bottle of this vanilla is crafted with real vanilla beans, patience, and intention. I chose to combine the traditional method of vanilla extract with the richness of vanilla bean paste, creating a pourable vanilla that is ready to enjoy now while continuing to grow even richer with time.
You'll see the beautiful flecks of vanilla bean in every pour a gentle reminder that the best things are never rushed.
Each batch also carries a small addition from my three-year-old mother bottle, a tradition I've continued every July and this year I'm offering to yall.
Only 4 small bottles are left from this year's batch. If you'd like one for your own kitchen apothecary, send me a message.
May the simple things continue to remind us that caring for ourselves doesn't always require something complicated. Sometimes it's as simple as slowing down long enough to truly savor something special.
