🥚🐔 Exciting news from the coop! Our lovely hens are finally back in the groove and laying eggs again! 🌟 After a little break, I can’t wait to see those fresh, delicious eggs filling up the basket once more. In about a month, I anticipate having extra eggs to share! 🥚❤️ Stay tuned for updates, and let me know if you're interested in some farm-fresh goodness!

Besides hatching more little chickies to add to our flock in the incubator, we’re trying something new this year!

These little chicks are called freedom rangers! They’ll go to freezer camp around Memorial Day. To say I’m excited to raise our own meat birds is an understatement!

After a few days, I feel like I can post this sadness. We had some stray dog or coyote attack our chickens this weekend. We had about 40 bigger chickens in total.

I’ve never had so many chickens die at one time.

Julian was a trooper in helping me clean up the aftermath. Unfortunately, Goldie, the OG Chicken, didn’t make it through the attack. With the snow and cold weather, the picture shows the only option I could think of. So not to attract any more predators.

We have 7 that survived the attack. 3 of those being Roosters.

The little babies are okay as they were locked up.

I’ll still be filling egg orders, just a little bit slower now.
