For Corey and Edmond, aka Triathacore Inclusive Racing, movement has become a way for this father and son to connect, compete, and grow together. As a father of a son with autism, Corey found a way to raise awareness and show what’s possible when adaptive athletes can compete: triathlons.
Through adaptive racing, they’ve found a way to swim, bike, and run side by side, while giving Edmond opportunities to build confidence, strength, and independence.
Their first triathlon was this May, and it was a moment that they will never forget. From an open-water swim to crossing the finish line hand in hand, the day was about so much more than the race itself. It was about finding a way, supporting each other, and creating memories together.
For this family, it’s not about PRs and finish times. It’s about inclusion, opportunity, and making sure more people have the chance to experience the thrill of a finish line.
We are proud to be a part of their journey! This is their: Why We Move.
