Met a dear friend for lunch at Seoul Market on 36th St in Wyoming, MI.

We got the bulgogi which came with the sides shown and added on an order of mandu. Everything was delicious and I look forward to going back to try more of the menu. Food comes out hot and fresh and the sides compliment the meal well. We grabbed drinks from the cooler and chowed down!

Enjoyed a nice afternoon with my mom and we ate at Petticoat Junction!

This restaurant may be one of the best kept secrets in the Gratiot area. Nestled inside a gas station, this restaurant serves homemade diner favorites. Wanting a light lunch? They offer a fresh soup and salad bar. Fridays they have an all you can eat fish and chicken buffet. In all the times we’ve gone through the years, Petticoat never disappoints.

For less than the cost of most fast-food meals, I got two pieces of piping hot and crispy broasted chicken, roll, stuffing, and mashed potatoes and gravy … all for just $9.99. The staff is friendly and courteous and always kind and welcoming.

I love to support local businesses and I would love to see you support them too. Picture shows my meal from today.

Enjoyed this beautiful, fresh salad at MudPenny today. 🥗

It’s called The Smorgasbord, and has fresh greens with smoked salmon, radish, pickled onion, and goat cheese with a lemon vinaigrette. It’s light, it’s refreshing, and it kept me full for the rest of the work day.

It was my first visit but it definitely won’t be my last! I need this salad again 👀

Delicious food from Pit Stop Catering today for lunch.

Seen here is smoked corned beef, mac and cheese, green beans, and corn bread. I ate half comfortably and am taking the rest home for lunch tomorrow. Everything was perfect - wonderful quality, meat wasnt dry at all and super flavorful without sauce, super friendly staff, and you’re not leaving hungry!

They’re open Thursdays and Fridays from 11 am - 3 pm for takeout. If you can swing it, it’s some of the best bbq I’ve had in the area.

Visited The Old Goat last Thursday with a friend and was really sad to see they no longer have their German nights. It was a favorite of mine to attend, but we had a nice meal, as usual.

Their egg nog is delicious with wh***ey and rum. We ended up eating during happy hour, so we got two apps - pretzel and salmon crostini. Those salmon crostinis are amazing! Finished it off with a shared olive pizza. Was a fun evening 🙂
