The guys went down to LaBelle, Missouri for the Show Me BBQ Show Down.
We did this one last season for their inaugural competition and were happy to be back. The prize money is HUGE!

As for the cook, we are proud to say that we heard our name called for 6th on Brisket!! Best score yet.

We also submitted peach dumplings for the Taster's Choice portion and walked away with 9th!

Out of 34 Big competitors, this was a great day.
Congrats to all that heard their names called and good luck to friends cooking at The Royal and upcoming Jack.

Septemberfest in Coldwater today

We were lucky to hear our name called 3 times!!
9th in 🐔
**5th** in 🐷 ribs
7th in brisket 🐮

We knew our pork was not going to fly, but that's ok!!

Good enough for 12th overall, though, and a continued 🪜 to BBQ champs 💭

We took a quick jot over to Kansas this weekend.
What a fun, small town festival, the town put on!
Met a few new faces. Kansas is a friendly state.
We are very happy with our scores!!!

Out of 33 teams:
15th chicken 🐔
14th ribs 🍖
19th pork 🐷
23rd brisket 🐮
18th overall

Little improvements, big outcomes!
This is a competition we would love to come back to.

WE CAME HOME WITH A TROPHY!!!!

1st place on Dessert with peach dumplings 🍑
Shout out to Gavin Orchards for these perfect peaches.
On Cloud 9!!!!

We also are so proud of our scores. We competed against some of the hardest competition teams this weekend. Our name didn't get called for top 10 on the meats, but we will take 14th out of 42 teams, in chicken, anyday!!!

We enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new.

Congrats to all of the teams that heard their name.

One of our favorite competitions, and our 3rd year participating. Iowa 🖤💛🖤
I think every year it manages to get hotter here.
We had our best pork score ever, and are proud of our 12th place finish out of 28. We also did well with our peach ribs.
Thank you to Shenandoah ShenDig BBQ Championship for such a well run event!!
