Records were set in Olathe, KS this weekend, but not by us, lol.
91 degrees in March set a record for Kansas.
We had a great time competing against 67 other teams, one of our biggest comps yet.
We didn't place well, but we're just getting started this season.

LaBelle Missouri was the cutest little town.
We had a great time despite the heat and biting flies. We thought our turn ins were some of our bests, despite not hearing our name.
Even though we were in the middle of nowhere, we still managed to get pulled over. No lights?? Or out of state plates 🤷‍♀️ either way, cool guy.

Yesterday we competed in the Sturgis BBQ Fest🍗
It was the perfect day for bbq!
This competition was smaller, and only one day.
Arrived at 6 and left by 6!
We handed in all 4 meats and were happy with everything except that we dumped the peach bbq (key part) for the ribs.
We were happy with our 3rd place on chicken and 3rd place on pork butt!

One more competition to go!!
Missouri here we come with our 3 barrels ready to roll!

It was soooo hot!
