How comfortable are you with your 700lb+ pigs? We sit in the pen with ours while they feed the babies. We play with the babies and mama has no care in the world. Shoot we even lay on them.

Mama and piglets are doing great. Sadly we lost one of our little boars. 😔 The remaining are thriving.

Extremely proud of our mama. Fiona took in our last duroc piglet making 9 babies. We were worried she wasn’t gonna take him and potentially hurt him, but she did what we were hoping she would. Her babies snuggled around him and up close to mama. She’s also allowing Ruby to come up to the piglets and lay by them. She really is a completely different mom this go around. Hopefully Ruby will be having her first littler soon as she’s already made her nest amongst other things.

Two of our girls will hopefully having their babies today. They are both showing signs of farrowing. The anticipation and excitement keeps building. Ruby (Red Mangnalista) is one of our Gilts whose due date is up in the air will be having Red Mangnalistas. Fiona (purebred Red Wattle) will be having her 5th litter of pure bred Red Wattles.

When you convince him to let you bring the littles inside cuz it’s cold. 🥰🥰 one of our little guys crawled up and snuggled with me 🥰🥰. Our little Duroc babies are so friendly and love snuggles. Can’t wait for more babies to come this month.
