It was a fun trip up into the mountain lakes. T he boys packed in heavy but did great. Who knew Southern Oregon could get snow in the middle of summer?

Getting up to the Sky Lakes was a great way to beat the heat this 4th of July. The goats did great of course and the fish were biting. The hike out was a brutal 15 miles in hot weather. The goats and humans were all thankful to make it back to the trailhead and head home for some rest. Can't wait for winter to be over so we can hit the high mountain trails again!

Made it to Lake Harriette at the end of June. The boys packed in heavy but did great, only slowing down a little when it got hot on the 6 mile hike in. My dad, brother, and I all caught multiple rainbows on flies. The water all weekend was crystal clear blue, it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to.

This was our first multi-day trip with the pack goats up to Lake Como. We had no idea there was so much snow still. All of us were post holing but we trudged on and made it to the lake after sundown to find the lake frozen to our dismay. The fishing will have to wait until next time. Thanks to all my goats for carrying our gear and helping to make memories that will last a lifetime. Can't wait to go back when it's warmer!

One of the first hikes of the year down the Rogue River back in May. The boys did great but were still getting in shape. There were some crazy wind gusts through the canyon, so the fishing wasn't there, and we had to do some on the trail healthcare for Tater. 10.5 miles on total
