Our Farm Stand will be closed this weekend as we tend to a family emergency.

We’re hoping to have a few fresh loaves available in the near future, and we’ll make a post here if and when they’re ready.

For the time being, we’ll be taking things day by day and will always post when we have bread, eggs or other goodies available at the stand.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support of our little farm stand. 🤍

After a year of trying to figure out the best way to offer our sourdough between the shop and the Farm Stand, I think we’ve finally found a rhythm that makes the most sense!

Rather than splitting the bread between two locations on Saturdays, we’ll have all of our fresh sourdough at our shop in downtown Grantsburg from 10 AM–2 PM. Whatever loaves are left at 2 PM will head out to the Farm Stand from about 2:30 PM until dusk.

We’ve had Saturdays where the bread sells out quickly at one location while loaves are still sitting at the other, and this feels like the best way to make sure everyone has a chance to grab a loaf while also doing our best to avoid food waste.

If you know you’re hoping for a loaf, feel free to message us! We’re always happy to let you know what we have available.

Farm fresh eggs will continue to be available at BOTH locations, so you can grab those whether you’re stopping by the shop or the Farm Stand!

And one little summertime note: on those really hot days, we may skip baking altogether. Turning on the oven when it’s already sweltering just isn’t happening. 😅 If we’re baking, we’ll always post and let you know!

A little FranDray Farm Stand update:

The farm stand will be closed this weekend.

Between the busyness of summer and this incredible heat, I just haven’t had it in me to turn on the oven and heat up the house for a few loaves of bread that may or may not sell. As much as I love baking, sometimes it’s okay to slow down and enjoy this short Wisconsin summer.

Because of that, July will probably be a little unpredictable. Rather than keeping regular farm stand hours, I’ll simply post the morning we have fresh baked goods available so you’ll know exactly what’s waiting at the stand that day.

The good news? Our farm-fresh, pasture-raised rainbow eggs will be available this weekend at NorthGoods Apothecary & Gifts in downtown Grantsburg, so if you’re in town, stop by and grab a dozen!

Eggs for Days!!! Stop by the Farm stand today and tomorrow to pick up some farm fresh beautiful rainbow eggs from our very loved hens. No bread this weekend, it is too darn hot!

A little farm stand update for everyone…

Due to this weekend’s extreme heat, FranDray Farm Stand will be taking the weekend off.

As much as I love baking, heating up the house for just a few loaves of bread that may or may not sell doesn’t make much sense when temperatures are soaring. Sometimes farm life means listening to the weather, knowing when to slow down, and taking care of ourselves, too.

We’re also taking the opportunity to celebrate my amazing husband on his birthday, and spending a little extra time together as a family.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and continued support. We’ll be back with fresh sourdough, rainbow eggs, and all the cozy farm stand goodness the following weekend.

Oh my goodness, our farm stand is sold out! I will be making four artisan sourdough loaves for tomorrow and we will restock our delicious farm fresh rainbow eggs as well!

A little over five years, we decided to move from the city to the country. We found this magical little piece of earth called Grantsburg, Wisconsin. We love it more each day and learn so much more about ourselves every year. ♥️

The most perfect sourdough loaves are stocked up at the farm stand along with some gorgeous rainbow eggs!
