🍁 A little Thanksgiving calm for tomorrow

Thanksgiving always moves at its own whirlwind pace, so here’s your tiny reminder to slow down just once tomorrow:
set your Original Lavender bar on a pretty dish by the kitchen or bathroom sink and take one slow breath every time you wash your hands. It’s amazing how grounding it feels in the middle of the holiday buzz.

However you celebrate, we hope your day is full of warmth, good food, and those small pockets of quiet we all crave this time of year.

The nights are getting chillier, and that first crackle of a fire just hits different 🔥💜

Our lavender fire logs are made with dried blooms from our farm, adding a soft floral aroma to your cozy nights in. Perfect for fireplaces, backyard fire pits, or a quiet evening under a blanket.
Because calm doesn’t have to stop when summer ends.

🌿 Gardening is where we plant the example.

Our girls don’t just see lavender growing — they see us showing up, even when it’s hot, muddy, or inconvenient. They see the patience, the care, and the steady tending it takes to bring something to life.

We don’t have to tell them about hard work or perseverance. They see it in our soil-streaked hands, our early mornings, and the way we keep nurturing our plants, season after season.

For them, the real harvest isn’t only the blooms — it’s learning that strength and beauty are built over time, with consistency and care.

And one day, when they’re growing their own dreams, we hope they’ll remember the example we set here in the rows of lavender.

We wrapped up one of the quiet but important rituals of running a lavender farm—our fall prune. ✂️💜 The rows look a little neater and a little sleepier now, all trimmed back and ready for winter.

Pruning helps the plants stay healthy, sending their energy down to the roots where it’s needed most for the cold months ahead. It’s a simple act of care that pays off in stronger blooms come spring.

As we watch the fields settle into their winter rest, we’re reminded that even calm takes preparation.

🌿 Farm Update

Our lavender surprised us with a little rebloom. It’s not a full field of purple like June, but just enough color to make us smile. Instead of harvesting, we’re leaving these blooms for the bees and butterflies to enjoy. 🐝🦋

Sometimes the best thing we can do is step back and let nature have her turn. 💜

A sachet is more than a drawer freshener 🌿💜

Our lavender sachets are filled with buds from our farm—simple, natural calm in a muslin bag. Most people know them for dresser drawers, but that’s just the beginning.

I’ll share a few unexpected ways to use them in the comments—so you can get even more out of your little bundle of lavender.

💜 Missed your lavender harvest window?

It happens! If your plants are looking a little tired and the flowers have faded, you can still give them some TLC.

✂️ What to do now:
* Trim back the stems to tidy the plant and encourage fresh growth.
* Avoid cutting into the woody base — stick to the green growth only.
* Compost or toss the spent blooms (the bees already enjoyed them!).

Think of it as a late-summer haircut for your lavender. Even when the blooms are past their prime, a good trim now means a healthier, bushier plant next year. 🌿

🚨 Lavender plants rescued from the jungle! 🚨

We hadn’t been up to Wisconsin in two weeks thanks to family commitments, and let’s just say… the grass and weeds were thriving. 🌱 Meanwhile, our little lavender plants were somewhere under there saying, “Send help.”

Enter Justin with a mower, gloves, and determination. 💪 He mowed, hand-pulled weeds, and carefully cleared around the crown of each plant so our baby lavender could breathe again and soak up the sun.

From wild to wow in just a few hours — giving these babies the best shot at thriving.
