Life seems to have taken on some peculiarities that- as far as observations go- sounds like a no-brainer.
I'm not referring to the obvious however, such as the covid 19 pandemic. I'm referring instead to the fact that the one trait that is seemingly preventing our species from moving forward- evolving if you will- is becoming increasingly prevalent these days. Every issue or situation that we find ourselves in ends up with a further polarization of our species, and with that yet another step towards the brink.
Why is that?
What is it about our species, that we set ourselves on a trajectory that ends with oblivion- and all because of everything having deteriorated into confrontation and conflict.
Global climates are changing in real time now, with the impact being felt daily. Science has the evidence showing/proving this time it's attributable to human activity Andrew irresponsibility. This was made known 50 years ago- a span of time likely long enough to prevent what we are living through from ever occurring- not to mention what awaits us within the next few decades.
Instead, it gave time to turn accountability into denial, delay and division.
Look at virtually every single issue, topic, problem we find ourselves facing, and in each case there is confrontation, animosity and a less secure future...
Pandemics? Work together to limit the spread, prevent future pandemics by shutting down the source(s), and start teaching people
