Next Sunday, 11/21, at the Brogue!!! With a baritone voice some have described as "coming along once in a generation," Charlie Zahm has become one of the most successful performers on the Celtic festival circuit. A master of the guitar and bodhrán as well, he brings an authentic love and respect for the music he sings. Keenly aware of his own heritage, which includes healthy doses of Scottish and Irish blood on both sides of his family, Charlie has collected several hundred popular (as well as beautiful and obscure) selections and now performs them for thousands of fans up and down the Eastern Seaboard and across America. Tad Marks, an accomplished American folk and bluegrass fiddler in his own right and former member of the Del McCoury Band, joins Charlie at this performance. www.charliezahm.com

Coming to the Brogue on Sunday!!! RONN MCFARLANE & CAROLYN SURRICK: The Baltimore Consort and Ensemble Galilei. Ayreheart and Trio Galilei. Early music and traditional music. Both of these distinguished artists have been champions of their respective instruments for decades: McFarlane on lute and Surrick on viola da gamba. Both are compelling performers, consummate musicians, and both have immersed themselves in music from the Renaissance and Baroque as well as music from the Celtic lands, adding their own compositions as they evolve. Individually, they have been awarded, acclaimed, celebrated, and now finally, they have become musical partners in an extraordinary journey. Their musicianship is impeccable, the ease with which they play together is stunning, and their music making is a joy to behold. www.lfcm.us/ronn-mcfarlane-and-carolyn-surrick/?fbclid=IwAR1nJW0LRgPsLhXd3gg8epHCrnLGm5TuCXUW4msknh_bFlY6q9FW9yG21x0

We are discussing resuming the Celtic Concerts in November and would like to take a quick poll. We, of Barnaby Productions, Inc. support presenting vaccination certificates at the door: the Snuggery is a small, poorly ventilated space in which people will remove masks to eat and drink. Our audience tends to be senior citizens, and we know that, as both musicians and audience members, we won't feel safe without that certificate for all comers. Please let us know how you feel.
