Next week @ Brogue - Carolyn Surrick and Ronn McFarlane! The Baltimore Consort and Ensemble Galilei. Ayreheart and Trio Galilei. Early music and traditional music. Both of these distinguished artists have been champions of their respective instruments for decades: Ronn on lute and Carolyn on viola da gamba. With a baritone voice some have described as "coming along once in a generation," CHARLIE ZAHM has become one of the most successful performers on the Celtic festival circuit. A master of the guitar and bodhrán as well, he brings an authentic love and respect for the music he sings. Keenly aware of his own heritage, which includes healthy doses of Scottish and Irish blood on both sides of his family, Charlie has collected several hundred popular (as well as beautiful and obscure) selections and now performs them for thousands of fans up and down the Eastern Seaboard and across America. TAD MARKS, an accomplished American folk and bluegrass fiddler in his own right and former member of the Del McCoury Band, joins Charlie at this performance. www.charliezahm.com
