Last night at our corporate headquarters, we welcomed 4-H President and CEO Jill Bramble to celebrate our 4-H alumni team members during a special fireside chat and reception. Team members came together to share how 4-H helped shape their leadership journeys and discussed the lasting impact youth development programs have on individuals, communities and the future of agriculture.

“Our partnership with 4-H aligns closely with our values at JBS,” said Wesley Batista Filho, JBS USA CEO. “The impact of 4-H can be seen not only in today's youth, but also in the team members and leaders gathered here today.”

Our new sausage facility is taking shape in Perry, Iowa. With structural steel up and construction activities moving full speed ahead, our fresh sausage production facility continues to make great progress. We're proud to see this investment come to life and look forward to the opportunities it will create for our business, our team members, and the community.

Our Cactus, TX, team was honored to participate in this year’s Dogie Days Parade in Dumas, TX, helping kick off one of Dumas’ most cherished annual events.
A highlight of the parade was the friendly competition among JBS departments, with teams coming together to design and build creative floats that showcase the teamwork, innovation and community spirit that define our culture.

This event raises funds that support local charities, scholarships, vision programs, the Texas Lions Camp, Meals on Wheels, the Moore County Food Pantry and many other organizations that make a difference across the Dumas community.

From National 4-H Council member to mentor, Richard Pfieff has spent a lifetime giving back.

Richard has spent over 30 years with JBS USA, supporting farmers and producers as a Fieldman, helping them navigate daily challenges and achieve success. But his impact extends far beyond his role.

A lifelong advocate for 4-H, Richard has spent decades mentoring young people and helping create opportunities for the next generation. Through a partnership between JBS Live Pork and the Des Moines County 4-H program, local youth gain hands-on experience raising pigs, learning responsibility, animal care, recordkeeping and leadership skills that will serve them for years to come.

The program continues to make a difference, providing 40 to 70 pigs annually to youth exhibitors and helping more young people participate in livestock projects. At the 2026 Des Moines County Fair, participants demonstrated the results of their hard work, with JBS project pigs earning top rate-of-gain honors.

"4-H taught me to give back to the community. It also taught me that hard work pays off," Richard shared. Those lessons continue to guide him today as he helps young people build confidence, develop leadership skills and discover opportunities for the future.

Our Green Bay, WI, facility recently welcomed John Foss, Regional Director from Senator Ron Johnson’s office, for a tour of our facility and a discussion with plant leadership. During the visit, Green Bay shared insights into our operations, safety practices, workforce needs and our dedicated team members who help feed the world every day.

As a major employer in the Green Bay community, we value opportunities to engage with local leaders and policymakers, helping build strong partnerships that support our team members, local families and the regional economy.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming the Texas Pork Junior Ambassadors to our Government Relations office in Washington, D.C., and our pork facility in Marshalltown, Iowa. It was a great opportunity to share more about JBS, our industry, and the important role agriculture plays in feeding communities around the world.
