Meet Angel Horn, the Education Events Coordinator here at GPS Dairy Consulting! She is responsible for planning and managing our educational programs and events designed to help dairy producers and industry professionals learn, grow, and succeed.

Angel:

With a background in education, corporate training, and consulting, she is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and helping individuals reach their full potential. A lifelong learner and natural encourager, Angel believes that every person, project, and organization can be improved through intentional leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous growth. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside businesses, leaders, and teams to develop practical solutions, strengthen relationships, and create opportunities for personal and professional development.

Angel earned her degree in Education from Morehead State University and later pursued graduate studies in Adult and Higher Education. In addition to her work with GPS, she is the owner of ABH Consulting, LLC, where she provides administrative and organizational consulting services to businesses and organizations.
Angel proudly calls eastern Kentucky home, where she and her husband, Michael, her high school sweetheart, have built a life centered on faith, family, and service. Together they have two children, Chance and Kayleen. She is actively involved in her church, where she enjoys teaching, mentoring, and serving her community. When she's not working, Angel enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time on the lake with family and friends.

Meet Brady Goetz, a consultant with GPS Dairy Consulting LLC. Brady provides independent nutrition and whole-farm management consulting to dairies in the I-29 corridor and Kansas.

Brady is known:

✅ For his strength in heifer development and transition programs to improve future herd performance.
✅ For a hands-on, practical approach grounded in real-world management and on-farm ex*****on.
✅ To challenge progressive dairies to identify bottlenecks, think differently, and operate at a higher level.

A bit more about Brady:
Brady works with progressive dairies to improve performance across the entire system, from calf and heifer development through transition and into lactation, with a primary focus on driving results in the milking herd. His approach centers on aligning nutrition, management, and people to create consistent, high-level performance. Brady brings strength in heifer development and transition programs, ensuring animals enter the milking string prepared to perform and support long-term herd success. Known for his direct and practical style, he challenges clients to think differently, identify bottlenecks, and execute at a higher level while working closely with ownership and management teams to strengthen communication, improve training, and build systems that drive accountability and results.

Brady’s approach is grounded in hands-on experience managing employees and daily dairy operations, giving him a practical understanding of what it takes to implement change on-farm. He thrives working with dairies that are motivated to improve, open to change, and committed to doing the small things right every day. Brady earned his PhD in Animal Science from Iowa State University under Dr. Lance Baumgard, focusing on immune activation and nutritional strategies to improve cow health and performance.

Brady, his wife Taylor, and their daughter live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Meet Nathan Pokowski, a consultant with GPS Dairy Consulting LLC. Nathan provides independent nutrition and whole-farm management consulting to dairies in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

Nathan:
✅ Is passionate about rumen function with a deep focus on maximizing the rumen potential.
✅ Has a keen focus on a smooth transition period to help minimize health events and improve reproduction.
✅ Is experienced in pulling teams together to identify and solve bottlenecks with innovative solutions.
✅ Has a wide network of university and allied industry contacts to bring to resources to a dairy to help solve complex problems.

A bit more about Nathan:
He began his career on his grandfather’s farm where he spent most of his summers growing up working for a small beef operation. Outside of farming, Nathan was involved in sports and boy scouts and in 2006 he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He attended Michigan State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management. After college, Nathan relocated to pursue a career as a dairy nutritionist in British Columbia, Canada. While in Canada, he helped producers manage quota and produce milk economically by focusing extensively on income over feed cost without sacrificing animal health. As his family grew, he decided to move back to Michigan where he continued his career as a dairy nutritionist for a regional feed company.

In 2016, Nathan completed his ARPAS certification, and he currently serves as an ARPAS board member. He has worked in allied industry where he helped manage and budget various commercial research projects that consist of ration analysis, dry cow management, feed and forage management, gut health, and immunity. He has served as an account manager and leader for teams across North America. Nathan is passionate about helping producers maximize the potential of the rumen. He believes that high quality forages and dry/transition cow health are the backbones for sustainable production. He focuses extensively on helping producers harvest and store high quality forages to maximize the amount of forage in the diet.

Nathan currently resides in Michigan with his wife, Ashley, and two boys, Landon and Easton.
