I've had some folks reach out, so just giving a quick update. I will be back in gear soon with chicks and rabbits. I apologize for any inconvenience. However, I do appreciate all those that have reached out, whether for business or just to check in. It's been quite the ride since last summer, and have been waiting for some closure on some personal issues.

There have been a few changes on livestock and availability. I only breed Brahma chickens now in a variety of colors. As far as rabbits, I still run New Zealands and have added Tamuks as well.

Thank yall again for the continued support!

‼️New Zealand Rabbits‼️

I will have enough to complete orders from folks I've already spoken to, maybe a couple extra. However, I just did my last round of breeding before the summer weather moves in. Always give my girls a break during the hot temps for their own health and wellbeing.

BIG thank you to everybody for the continued support! I've met some great folks this year and am excited for yall to start your own rabbitry to be self sufficient for meat 🐇

💥Brooder clean out coming soon!💥
Variety of colors of SEXED & OFF HEAT Brahmas. I will have some pullets that are not up to my quality set aside for cull unless anybody specifically asks for them. They will go at a lower price.

💥I'll no longer be breeding French Wheaten Marans💥

Yall know me for my Brahmas, so I'll be working on a project color to take the place of the marans. Hopefully it turns out well 🤞

Got some New Zealand babies that'll be ready to go next weekend. Mom and dad have both been great breeders and have very good temperaments. Eating pellets and hay well, also drinking without help from bottle waterer. Born December 10th.

With the new year now here, I've made some big changes at the farm over the last couple months.

For starters, I'm no longer raising or breeding coturnix quail. I can still help point people in the right direction to buy from reputable folks in the area though, so feel free to ask about them.

I've slimmed down A LOT on my chickens to focus on only a few breeds. I'm focusing on having my SOP at the level needed to be able to sell the best quality birds I can produce. The breeds will be the following:
Double Golden Laced Barnevelder
French Wheaten Maran
Brahmas in the colors of:
-Partridge
-Blue Partridge
-Splash (later in the year)
-Blue Buff
-Blue Light (columbian)
I'll be adding another color of Brahma end of this year possibly, but more than likely it'll be next year if everything goes as planned.

We no longer have pigs, thank God!

I'll continue to have New Zealand meat rabbits, but will possibly be slimming down to one buck instead of two. In other words, I won't be able to provide breeding pairs of those with clean bloodlines. Again, I can point you in the direction of reputable breeders in the area.

I've added pedigreed Rex breeders to the farm that should throw some beautifully colored big babies.

With our cattle, I've sold all my black angus and have focused on Herefords only. I found they've been healthier and maintain their weight better. Not to mention, they're pretty nice to look at 😍 I have a commercial heifer and have brought in a registered bull. I plan on adding 2-3 more registered heifers and another commercial heifer.

2023 was a year of trial and error, pushing limits, and trying new things to see what works best for us. I apologize to anybody that relied on me for things I no longer breed, however I was way in over my head with the amount of livestock I had, and was running in circles to keep up with all the work by myself. I can focus better now on health and genetics to provide better quality livestock.

Thank you to everybody for your continued support, and hope yall have a blessed new year!
