We’ve got a limited menu this week but still have your faves! NC wild caught Spanish Mackerel as well as Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp and Scallops!
Come out, grab some groceries and say hi to Ross!

Happy Friday Fish Fam!!!
I wanted to share some really cool artwork a student of mine gifted me, an old ad from a fishmonger in California. I’ve always been a fan of this style of Pen and Ink work, (it reminds me of Maurice Sendak’s “In the Night Kitchen”). Thanks Kelly Rightsell Designs
Spanish Mackerel is back this week! A customer favorite and a delicious, oily fish that has a nice buttery flavor to it.
We’ll have more Spot and Black Sea Bass as well, alongside all of your fresh and frozen faves.
Also, I’ll have pottery again as my alter ego, Brett McDonough's Pots
This mug as well as some other functional work will be available some come out and snag some food with your art!

Happy Friday Fish Fam!!!
We’ve got quite possibly the most adorable lineup of wild caught, fresh NC fish available for you this weekend The Corner Farmers Market
First up we’ve got Spot. These lil guys are a regional favorite in the coast as they migrate from the north to warmer waters in Florida. They’re tiny and have a subtle clean flavor and are great for battering and pan frying.
Next we’ve got Black Sea Bass, you already know it and love it! Sweet and subtle, perfect with just some lemon and butter or on a bed of greens!
Last, making its Triad Fishmongers debut, Popeye Mullet. These buds have a stronger fishy flavor and a tough skin so they’re perfect for the grill or blackened.

Happy Friday Fish Fam!
Come celebrate the end of my birthday month and the start of August with us at The Corner Farmers Market tomorrow!
We’ve got fresh Black Sea Bass back on the menu as well as all of your fresh and frozen favorites!
We’ll see you tomorrow from 8AM-12PM at the corner of Kensington and Market!!!

We’ve got a new item this week: Farmed Rockfish!
A regional name for Striped Bass which we often get from the Chesapeake in VA. These are smaller and come from a land based aquaculture farm and they’re as flaky and meaty as their wild caught cousins!
We also have heads and carcasses now available. If you’re wondering why… For us it helps us keep costs lower and reduce waste
For you? You can make a beautifully delicate fish stock or fumet if you’re into French cuisine! You can also use them in your garden as a phenomenal fertilizer.
Whatever your needs may be, we’ll be at The Corner Farmers Market tomorrow from 8-12.
