Offering IVF Embryos from these 2 matings. In February I flushed RV Miss Evan where she produced 117 oocytes! With producing so many, I made the decision to fertilize them to these two well known bulls. I ended up with 57 grade 1 embryos so now I have made the decision to offer these great horned genetics. Miss Evan is pictured here today while raising a 5 month old bull calf. She carry’s a beautiful udder, great footed, plenty length, and just plain good in all the right places. A polled Silver Lake Jackson heifer calf made her arrival this morning. This is one I have been looking forward to for months.

First calf of the year hit the ground Sunday. Possibly homopolled Estes Top Gun heifer calf. The first calf heifer Dam is Century Marzipan 409M from Century Simmental’s in Alberta.

The resulting calf from lot 8 in the 2023 Magnolia Classic. (Red Oak Joanne) No trouble to tell she is sired by APLX Coach. AI’d this spring to Lone Stone Jerome for a potentially homopolled calf next February. Keeping my fingers crossed!

My favorite cow on the farm. Often times when I see her I think of Glen Vaughn and the advise and knowledge he shared with me in the few years I got to know him. I believe this cow is one he would be proud of.
