Hello my friends 👋🏼
Yes, the rumors are true. I’ve been slowly winding down this little business after nearly a decade of making cakes - how is that possible! Whether you landed here as a customer in Santa Barbara or in Greenville, or from a British tabloid (IYKYK), or maybe you just love flowers and good buttercream as much as I do - whatever the case, I just want to say THANK YOU! By far my favorite part of this cake gig has been getting to be a part of your most special days and hearing your stories, rolling up to your house with a cake box in hand or getting that “IT WAS PERFECT” text after the fact. It’s all just been so flipping magical (ok not all, but mostly), and I’m so grateful. Who knows, maybe I’ll get back to making cakes someday! Over the past 10 years, I have made upwards of:
* 389 cakes
* 3,432 cupcakes
* 44 pies
* 1,128 cookies
* 196 individual deliveries
* 448 customers
Whew, that was a lot of butter.
I’ve been cooking up a little something new that feels right and true for this current season of life, and you can find it over at . It’s treats, it’s cozy, it’s community. I’m excited to see where it goes, even if that someplace is just right in my own front yard. Follow along if you’d like!
