I have never forgotten the egg basket AND been too lazy to walk back to grab it....
Tonight, however, I just thought I'd grab them without the basket. As I started collecting, I realized the girls really showed up today and instantly regretted not getting the basket! We rarely get this many eggs in a day! 🤣

Bee fact: Honey bees have five eyes—two large compound eyes and three smaller eyes in the center of their head. While they cannot see the color red, they can see in ultraviolet light, which allows them to see invisible, intricate patterns on flower petals.

The lawn mowers are moving on to the other pasture again!!! Its so fun to watch them, they seem to know when we walk towards the gates that they are getting a new pasture!

Its my favorite to walk outside, clip off some lettuce, and provide it for dinner!

Now I just need some corn, cucumber, tomatoes to join in! 😉

I also thought my original 12 starts of lettuce would be more than enough.... turns out I need more!!!

We are opening the farmstand today for the first time in a few weeks. This time, with increased theft prevention. So fingers crossed 🤞
