Made this platter today while getting ready to learn Mahjong and honestly, this is proof that a beautiful platter doesn’t have to be complicated.
When I make a quick platter, I don’t overthink it. I start with a few basics, build around them, and let the colors do the work.
My quick platter tip:
Start with 4 cheeses, 2 meats, something crunchy, and something fresh — then fill in the gaps with fruits or veggies you already have in the fridge. That’s it.
This one came together with:
* Cheddar and herb cheeses
* Salami and pepperoni
* Crackers and pita
* Cucumbers, carrots, and berries
* A few fun extras for color and texture
And those little orange flowers? Just clementines — super simple but makes it feel special.
Now it’s time to shuffle tiles and learn Mahjong. Wish me luck!
