I try to keep a bag of Holy Trinity in my freezer at all times. It goes in 90% of our soups, casseroles and sides. It keeps me from having to start at the beginning everytime for supper. We are just like everyone else-busy!

It's not all about canning to preserve our food. Lots will go in the freezers.
A little work today will save you lots of time later. Your future self will thank you!

And bonus, save your scraps. Now you have the start of your chicken, beef or veggie stock!

They're clean, sanitized from the sun, crunchy, rough, and exfoliating. They feel like summer!

I'll take line dried towel any day over a soft, fluffy towel fresh out the dryer.

It's corn season!

$3 a dozen.
You shuck and clean.
Does have a few worms. But honestly, if the worm won't eat it you shouldn't either!

$6 a gallon ready for you to eat, freeze or can. Average 9 ears in a bag.

Pick up at the farm! Could possibly arrange drop off with a big enough order.

Get it quick. The corn NEVER lasts long!

Sorghum is a versatile, drought-tolerant grass grown as a cereal grain, sorghum syrup and animal feed.
Our little patch this year will be used for syrup and a little treat for the chickens and pigs.
It's been a fun plant to watch grow! Very hardy and grows in basically any type of soil.
