Heatwave and no time for a proper shear (and it’s not good for a sheep to be totally neked). Wool actually protects from sunburn and helps regulate both cold and hot.

That said, in a heatwave you only want an inch or two and Grandin is wooollllyyyyy.

So every morning I’m just hacking a bit off at a time. She’s such a good sport.

She will not look great for photos however 😂

Finally after three months, all our new fenced in pastures are ready. This one has got lots of random green stuff, a nice rock wall, trees, rocks, and five foot fencing so they are safe!
