She might need to lay off the feed for a while. Her tail is not up , and she has chest shafting 😞 I’m hoping I can lesson that. I think I will find her a Gentleman this spring. She’s a pullet who out grew her mother faster than I expected.
More often than not they have big attitudes when you go to snap a shot. Not the best photo, but I’m not waiting for her attitude to change iv got work to do. I don’t deserve the stink eye Sassy.

It’s been a while. So I’m posting a bit of the move in at the new shop/poultry barn I will be sharing with my husband. Right now I’m setting up things in the lean too because there’s still some issues we’re working out inside the shop. We bought some fans got them out to be installed and there were some issues so we sent them back now we are on a search to find a different type. Once those are installed we will call the electrician out for all the wiring to be done then it’ll be insulated. But for now I’m just using the overhead to get the birds out of the garages where there’s more airflow just been too hot here in Oklahoma we’ve had over a month worth 100° weather and I’m more than ready for fall. so Here’s a make shift set up I’ve used to get them out and get them somewhere there’s more circulation and they seem to be pretty happy with it. They have a better view than a sidewall and closed doors.

Checking out a few combs and reversed hackle lacing on the young ones color. Definitely some show more RIR genetics than others. Over time, and growth it all comes in.
Working on finding the lighter in the blue and not so much dark slate. Only time will show me if it’s what I want
