Strawberries have definitely proven themselves to be the most difficult and high maintenance to grow. While all 20 plants are exceptionally healthy, only about a quarter of them are producing fruit. With time, patience, and learning, I have no doubt we’ll be pumping them out soon enough! I mean, if you were this gorgeous and tasty, I’m sure you’d be a diva too! 🍓❄️

It’s aliveeeee!!!

Ever wonder what roots look like under the soil?? Pretty darn amazing, and only slightly creepy. Doing an overhaul over here because the tomato roots clogged our system! Look at these beauties- with a wingspan of over 4 feet, it’s no wonder things were going a little haywire. Sad to see them go, but sacrifices sometimes must be made 🍅 🥬

Add some color, crunch, and conversation to your Thanksgiving table by grabbing a fresh lettuce (or two!) at Haddon Heights Farmers Market tomorrow 9:30am-1pm. Though it’s the last market of the season, that hardly means we’re done growing! Message for details on delivery to keep the fresh produce coming, all year round 🤗

We will have plenty of red leaf, butter crunch, romaine, and salad greens tomorrow (1/$4, 2/$7, 3/$10), basil, parsley, and cilantro, as well as tomatoes and a few peppers!

This weekend we are soft launching delivery! We currently have limited quantities of romaine, buttercrunch, and red leaf lettuce as well as cherry and roma tomatoes available for delivery Saturday and Sunday morning.

Lettuce: $4/head or 2/$7
Cherry tomatoes:$1/dozen
Roma tomatoes: 4/$1

It has been so wonderful meeting with folks and talking about hydroponics the last couple of weeks at Haddon Heights, Haddonfield, and Burlington Co Farmer's markets! But remember, just because the weather is getting colder doesn't mean the Farmer's Markets stop! Join us at our remaining appearances to grab some fresh lettuce, learn about hydroponics, or talk about our plans for local deliveries for the winter season!

Happy Monday from us over here at Haddon Harvest! We are a hydroponic farm based in Haddon Heights growing fresh food year round. We are currently selling lettuces and tomatoes at local Farmer's Markets, but will soon be switching gears for a farm to home delivery service for the winter with greater produce variety.
