I am unreasonably excited about these beehive BOB stick dispensers! No more hunting through the basket to find what you want!

The good news - there is SO MUCH honey. I usually sell out by October - that will not be the case this year.

The bad news - there will NEVER be this much honey again because I cannot run this many hives and process this much honey again.

Dark fall honey is on the way! Awaiting a bottle shipment and then it will be on the self-service shelf.

Every May and June, I start hearing from allergy sufferers in full-on SPRING HONEY EMERGENCY MODE. They are desperate for spring honey, and I have to break the terrible news: “Sorry. Sold out. You needed to buy it last year.” 😬 And then I have to watch them wait until July for the next batch. It's awful.

If you want spring honey next spring, now is the time to stock up. Buy a jar, put it safely in your medicine cabinet, and label it:
DO NOT EAT. THIS IS FOR SPRING. Then spend the winter pretending you don't know it's there. Future you, sniffling in May, will thank you.

The self-service honey shelf is currently stocked with spring honey! I also have some late-summer honey, which is darker in color, in a box on the bench. Darker fall honey should be available by the end of the month.

Stop by anytime! 130 Lincoln St., Hamden. From the driveway, you'll see the side porch with the WELCOME sign. Come right in! If it's dark, there's a light switch on the left.

Non-bee content...but...so good! I am a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. If you've come to the honey stand this season, you probably met Abbey, my current puppy. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18wW5rCeDz/

The first of the darker honey is available. It’s in a box on the bench. Stop by the self-service honey stand anytime. Fingers crossed for a fall honey flow (🤞). Www.yellowhousehoney.com
