Prue and Lucian's twin girls
And Faith and Lucian's single girl, Joy.
8 weeks old.
Decided to feature them together as they were all born on the same day. And Prue is Faith's daughter, from Bro(Full Blood, traditional Boer) from 2024.
Prue's daughters are abit of a mixed breed with a majority of Nubian and Boer, and a tiny bit of Sanaan and Toggenburg through Faith, their grandmother. Both have horns, but mom comes from a long line of polled nanny does. Lucian was disbudded.
The more colored one, who I refer to as Pheobe, is a sweet girl who loves to be loved on, has a heavy body and just all around laid back personality. Would keep her if I could, but fortunately I believe she would be a great addition to another herd.
The more white with the spotted neck, refered to as Piper, isn't as lovey but isn't a wild spaz either. She has a longer neck and slimmer body than her twin. She would be a buddy if worked with, and perhaps bribed with goodies... Just sayin'.
Prue is an excellent first time mother with a nice udder(although smaller than her mom's), long body and legs, and calm demeanor.
3rd picture is Faith's Joy. She will be staying in herd to replace her momma, who will be retired this year at 7 years old do to an accident with barbed wire... she went through a fence and snagged her udder. Still, Faith is raising this lovely girl on a one sided udder. And boy is she growing!
Joy is mostly Nubian with a touch of Sanaan and Toggenburg.
And as an added bonus in the picture with Joy; look at that first fresh udder on Fawna, who is raising her twins full time!
