Truely Blest Nubian Boer Goats Nubian Boer cross, dual purpose goats raised and conditioned in our area of North West Colorado. Kids are dam raised and available at the end of summer/fall.

Also sport a small cow herd, horses, donkeys, a variety of chickens, ducks, guineas and a goose! Sharing knowledge of my experience with goats and other ranch animals. Not an expert by any means, but our ways have worked for over 40 years. And the baby pictures are just too cute! Enjoy and feel free to ask questions. Goats are Nubian Boer and Nubian Alpines dual purpose and conditioned for our area. Kid goats are ready in late summer through fall.

Today it rained... and snowed a bit... and rained again.
The ladies didn't want to come out at all! It did stop for an hour this evening so I could get the hay. My cousin helped to get everyone fed quick before it started up again.πŸ’œ
Good night to all, and good sleep.πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œ

Freyja πŸ’œ

Born March 20th, 2024, from Lillian and Walker from Cross Six Nubians in Meeker. Triplet to Fawna, full sister to Jewel(2023), half sister to Jolene(2025) through Lillian. Mother to Mercy. 75% Nubian, 25% Alpine. Disbudded.
Brought her, Fawna and momma Lillian home August 19th, 2024. Wild as no other from day 1, but my stubborn streak matches her's. She at least takes hay chips and comes when called.πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜Š

She is built like her momma; deep body and the best udder out of the 3 full sisters, even in her first fill.πŸ’œ
She had twins this spring; loved her boy but not fond of her girl. Although now she keeps Mercy close. I ended up supplement feeding Mercy and then full time fed after Freyja kicked her off completely at 2 months.
Decided I will give her a 2nd chance; she does it again she will go away. Just sayin'.

Clover πŸ’œ

Born April 12th, 2024 from a breeder in Craig, Colorado. Brought her and her half sister, Crimson home to the herd in August 2024. Yes, I did infact name them from the Joan Jett song!😁
Boer, but may have a touch of Nubian. She was disbudded.

Took almost 2 years and her having kids to make friends. But now she let's me comb her and do check ups without fighting and running away!πŸ₯°πŸ’œ
Great mother to her twin girls; that joined a new herd in Craig this fall! Excellent udder for a first timer and both kids were lovely; being built like the nubian with longer bodies and legs, but heavier boer width and weight.πŸ’œ

I am very happy with this lovely lady, and if I could, I am aiming for a billy buck from her and Nova!😊
It's been a tad chilly over nights and she is already fluffing out her winter hair! 😬

The wind was aweful yesterday! Besides ripping off tarps and flinging anything and everything not tied down, it broke a big branch!πŸ«ͺπŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Thank God it didn't fall on the propane tank!πŸ™πŸ’œ
It did bend the sign post a bit.πŸ˜¬πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

Had to use the skidder to get it off and down. Then pull it down the driveway way. Led the ladies to it this morning; where they stripped the leaves and helped break branches. Now to get it cut up for firewood! Nothing goes to waste if we can help it!😁
God is good!πŸ™πŸ’œ

We are truely blest.πŸ’œ

I thank our lord God for each and every one of them, and the ability to care for them. To grow the herd with strength and purpose. To love them because I love our Creator and He has allowed it to be so.

They may not look like show stoppers, but they have saved me in ways that many may not ever comprehend. They are one of the ways that allowed me to accept the Lord and hear Him say, ' be at ease, I am here.'

I have met so many wonderful people that have opened me to trust again in humans; because of this humble herd. They are what God has used to help me do so.
Thank you, Father. I am very thankful and truely blest.πŸ™πŸ’œ
Many blessings to all and everyone.

After a stormy morning, the sun came out for a bit.

This is Honey Bunny from Shelby and Buster(Lucian's full brother), twin to Rachel. 75% Nubian 25% Boer. Born May 29th, 2025.
She isn't as feel good about attention as her twin, but she loves the hay chips and is calmer than she started as a kid!😊

Hoping to put her and her sister with Nova. I am thinking the kids from those pairings will be phenomenal!
That is her momma at the bottom left.

Freyja says hi!πŸ€—
Hope everyone is having a great day!

This is the closest she has come up to me in awhile. No matter what I do, this 2 1/2 year old has not been friendly! But she will come over for a hay chip.πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œ
She isn't as skinny as the camera makes her look either!

Had to climb the roof of the house on this fine fall day. Fixed a leak(I pray). Had to take a picture of course!😁

Then it started raining! But no lightning!
Made it down safe; praise the Lord!πŸ™πŸ’œ

Look at those beautiful colors on the boxelders and oaks! The apple tree hasn't started changing yet(tree closest to the roof; that tree is older than I am!). πŸ‚πŸƒπŸ
Camera makes it all look a bit farther away. If you zoom in, you can see the cows across the ditch(they are the black specks!)

They love the boxelder and willow leaves year round; but expecially in the fall as they come off the trees! They must taste great, because they just devour them! Like Hoovers!
Who said candy doesn't grow on trees?!πŸ˜†πŸ’œ
