It has been a bit quiet here, but I assure you that things are progressing!
Next week, we will be posting a new baking schedule.
Regarding the upcoming fair, I unfortunately missed the deadline for entering my cheesecake; however, we will still be present at the fair.
Please consider visiting the 1 Horse at a Time Drafthorse Rescue in Corvallis! They will have a stand at the fair where you can purchase our pretzels, learn all about the rescue and drafthorses, and support a wonderful cause.

Who is looking forward to some sweet treats this week?

My baking day is scheduled for this Friday, August 14th. I will be preparing Kolaches, with your choice of cream cheese or berry topping, and Applepockets.
Sourdough bread will also be available upon request. I recently baked a sun-dried tomato bread that was really good and gone before I was able to take a picture.

It's a bit quiet here right now.
We're still in Germany! 🇩🇪
We'll be back in 2 weeks and can't wait to bake again, but for now, we're enjoying all the great pastries and cakes here and also get some new ideas 🤪
With all these treats, we'll have to work it off by hiking up the mountain. Sunrise hike was a blast!

My new favorite bread 🍞:
Its called Dinkel-Roggen-Landbrot (Spelt-Rye-Landbread- I know some translations are weird 😅)
It's a very flavorful bread, it reminds me a lot of home!

I will have that available on my next baking day which will be Monday May 18th! (Next week!)
along with Prezels.

‼️a heads up: I'll only have two more baking days before we leave for our summer trip (back to Germany to see family and friends)
We will be gone until the end of July!
