The water may be warm. But Slot sized striped bass are in thick! Dead bait over live right now. The larger ones are a little slow with the warm water. And the Stripers are lazy in general. They didn’t even want a live mackerel, too much or a chase. Caught this 29” striped bass on a dead mackerel.

Get some of our brined frozen mackerel and get out there and catch them up!

Mackerel are in stock, brined frozen and delivered to stores. New England marine in Portsmouth just got loaded up with 100 packs, headed to Dover marine next, then off to Newington, Greenland, Newfields, and rye . It took a while to get stocked up but things are looking good, go get your rod and get to fishing.
