There's a 99.9% chance that tonight is the last time in 2026 you'll see a few spots with an overnight low temperature at 70°F here in Michigan.

Heading into the morning of October 13th, 2026, a low pressure system will be passing through. This will keep us warm with plenty of moisture being forced in from the south. Low temperatures bottom out in the 50s and 60s across the state, but yes, a few locations may not even drop below 70°f by tomorrow morning when the sun shines again. Most shower and thunderstorm activity tonight will be in the Upper Peninsula, or in the Lower Peninsula to the east of US-131, and north of I-94. A storm or two further north could be on the stronger side, with a small chance for hail and damaging winds. A good night to test out your weather radio, just in case. More clearing expected the further southwest you go.
