It’s been super busy on the farm hence the delayed posts! So this one is going to be a long one. While I’m working long hours I’ve been doing a lot of thinking….. not always a good thing but our PA preferred sign says support pa farms! I wanted to take it a step further. There are many of us who didn’t take over the family farm, didn’t get an amazing deal on the property/ farm, aren’t generational farmers but work regularly jobs and hold down a farm. We work in the morning before our regular job then once we get home changed its back out to work till the moon is shining and there is no more light. We are learning as we go and lean on others for advice. We work to feed our community it might be produce it might be meat or to supply your hobby like knitting. The margins on farming don’t cover the cost of goods never the less the getting paid for your time. So support your local farms this season while times get tough budgets get smaller make it count where you spend your money!

Couldn’t be more proud of Lukas stepping up and doing something he has never done before. After meeting the owner of Ewebiquitous in Litiz who bought his Teeswater roving; we got talking and felt their sip and stitch was a perfect match for Lukas to do a presentation. The sip and stitch was a great group of people and they all asked so many questions and loved to learn about his journey and where he wants to go in life… Huge shout out to Ewebiquitous for allowing him this opportunity!
