My room is white and sage green now. Everything I could cover with two rolls of sage green peel and stick wall paper is covered. I also sewed sage green covers for my desk chair.

September reads!
The Girl with a Thousand Faces is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ easily in my top 5 books of all time.
I gave Hye-Young Pyun a second chance with The Hole and was pleasantly unsettled. If you do read it, just know it does have a lot of ableism.
I'm pretty sure Keigo Higashino has ruined all detective novels for me. I love his writing style.
I also returned to the Shetland Islands with White Nights.
What did you read in September?

I finished four books in August. Bog Queen was my favorite because it shifted from past to present day as the mystery of the body found in the bog unraveled.
The Silent Dead was a decent murder mystery, but beware that there's a lot of misogyny.
Malice is the second Keigo Higashino book I've read, and it was full of twists and turns I never saw coming.
The Owl Cries was a slow burn thriller that was a little too slow for me and a bit confusing.

I've been on an Asian horror kick lately and I finished this book yesterday. It's a slow burn horror that is full of emotions. Jihyun Yun is an amazing storyteller and I loved the way she weaved Korean myths and culture into all the grief and torment. I do need to warn potential readers that there are graphic scenes of animal death. It's a heavy read that will leave you feeling haunted. I hope the author writes more.
