Blessed Assurance Acres

Blessed Assurance Acres Sharing fresh food and plants for good health with friends and family. It's kinda addictive!

Whether that's fresh veggies or several berry bushes, we want others to experience the wonder of growing their own food and making their landscape feed them. Selling berry bushes, houseplants and herb plants in season by appointment and usually on weekends at the Hartville Flea Market. We also have fresh eggs and frozen quarts of goat milk available (goat milk for craft use only). Just shoot me a message on messenger and we can arrange a time to see the plant sale or do a driveway pickup.

Found some ripe LSU Purple figs in my stockyard. Plus many more that I hope to ripen in the next month before they go dormant. The taste was good enough that I’ll continue to walk out there and check for more, but I think the family consensus is the Brown Turkey has more flavor. Stop by the nursery for all my fig growing tips!

This little guys is sure hard to catch a photo of, but he’s my near constant companion in the sales yard. Here he’s drinking from the Lavender and Hummingbird Mint. We also have several of them that hang out near the butterfly bushes all evening, along with all kinds of butterflies, including monarchs.

If anybody asks, no, they do not, in fact, make good guardians of plants.
