Time for a fall harvest festival! Midnight Sun Farm is pulling out all the stops.

Join us on September 28th between 11 am and 3 pm at Healing Herd Therapy Farm in Pecatonica (Gretta's Goats) for a fall festival benefitting Healing Herd's mission to offer free animal assisted therapy for kids in our community. There will be music (Becky will be singing with her buddy Gabe), baby goats, read-aloud kids stories, pumpkins, and a mini farm market featuring flowers, pumpkins, pastured meats, and veggies and eggs.

Hi all! We have three extra turkeys this fall - they are in the 17-21 lb. weight range. If you are interested, please drop me a note and let me know! I'll be in Oak Park on Friday, Nov. 17th and could drop off in that area if needed.

Hi all! I hesitate to call this a farmstand, but I did put out a table with tomatoes, herb plants, and eggs and onions. Its right in the front yard. If you're in the area come on by and check it out! 😃 I'll leave it up through the weekend (9 AM - 6 pm), and maybe even extend hours on the weekdays, as supplies permit.

We are headed out to Gretta's Goats Market Days tomorrow (498 N Farwell Bridge Rd, Pecatonica, IL)!!! Can't wait to hang out with Grazy Acres, Solful Blooms and of course Gretta and Eric. I'll have TOMATOES and also my guitar - get there around 10 and enjoy some kids stories and singalongs.

Flowers, produce, eggs and meat, goat cuddles. What more could you ask for?

This week, Midnight Sun Farm is offering 10 lb of heirloom tomatoes for $20, and tasty tasty eggs, among other things. Check it out! I like this. I think other people might like this too.

Folks - happy spring. After a loooooooong hiatus, we're slowly increasing our egg and veggie output. Our dear friends at Gretta's Goats are graciously hosting us and Grazy Acres (purveyors of fine pastured beef) at Short Leg Farm Market Days on May 6, May 14 & May 29th! We will have eggs and veggie and flower plant starts, and eventually even some produce for sale.

The farm will be open those days to the public from 10:30 - 3:30 PM. Come see us! While you are at it, you can also snag tickets for a goat hike at https://grettasgoats.com. Short Leg Farm is located in Pecatonica, IL.

We are stoked to get to hang out with Gretta, Eric and Donna, who have all been our farm friends for a very long time.
