As another week of county fairs comes to a close, we want to congratulate all of the exhibitors who competed at the Webster County Fair, Morgan County Fair, and fairs across the region.

The success seen in the show ring is the result of months of dedication, long days in the barn, and countless hours caring for your livestock. Whether you left with championships, class wins, or simply gained experience, every exhibitor has something to be proud of.

To all of the families who trusted B Diamond Showstock this season—thank you. We truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of your journey and enjoy watching your hard work pay off.

Congratulations on a successful fair season so far! We wish everyone the best of luck at the remaining county fairs, state fairs, and shows ahead. Keep working hard, enjoying the process, and representing the livestock industry with pride.

It was a busy day at Burch Livestock in Seward, NE this past Sunday!

Our yearling ewe flock went through the chute for laparoscopic AI breeding, setting the stage for an exciting lamb crop next spring. The sires we're working with this year:

•You're Welcome (Thank Me Later x Macho, RRFF — owned by Burch/Kershner)

•Mount Jackson (Thank Me Later x Saban, RRFD — owned by Burch/Alpha Omega)

•Even Better (Burch/Hobbs 5037, Ocean Eyes x Ocean Eyes x Bowman, RRNNFFEDF, Registered Southdown — owned by Burch/Hobbs)

Days like this take a lot of hands and a lot of patience, but it's how we build toward the next great set of show stock. These ewes are due this winter — we'll be counting down the days!

These yearling ewes are one step closer to the next generation.

One tool we utilize is LAI (Laparoscopic Artificial Insemination). Unlike traditional AI, LAI places semen directly into the uterus, resulting in higher conception rates.

It’s an opportunity to bring elite genetics into the flock, accelerate genetic progress, and build a stronger foundation for future show prospects.

The investment starts long before lambing season, and we’re excited to see what these girls produce.

Leg s**g doesn’t happen by accident—it happens through consistency. Daily care, proper conditioning, and regular work with the blower help build the dense, healthy leg wool that gives you more to work with on show day.

Great leg s**g isn’t just about looks—it’s about creating shape, balance, and a cleaner silhouette that helps maximize a lamb’s natural structure.

The champions you see in the ring didn’t wake up with legs like that. They got there through countless days of small, consistent efforts.

Super fun watching the progression of these lambs from week to week. It’s rewarding to see the changes that come from daily care, feeding, and time spent in the barn. These lambs keep getting better, and we’re excited to see how they continue to develop heading into the summer!

Lots of A.I. lambs on the ground! These lambs were sired by some proven names in the industry. In addition, we have natural service lambs hitting the ground as we speak. We will have a variety of options available to fit varying budgets. Stay tuned for more pictures!
