The Health Department is working with MDH and the FDA (what!?) to come up with guidance in regards to freestanding ice and water vending machines... So I am waiting to be licensed. The main hold up is the lack of a handwashing sink for when a technician refills the bags and checks the filters. They are also requiring a few modifications to the machine which the engineers at Everest Ice and Water Systems are kindly working on for me.

It's been a journey, and I am really looking forward to the day I can offer the world ice and water from a vending machine. 😉
