Warren had to cut 2 pine trees that were dying. Pine beetles seem to be going through the area pretty bad. We burned them to try and stop the beetles from spreading to the other nearby pines. It made quite the blaze!

New chicken tractor Warren finished for me. I’m excited to have a place to raise chicks until they’re old enough to be with the bigger chickens. And Blaine’s new ducks seem to enjoy the space as well.

Mallory’s market was a pretty good success. It was a beautiful evening to be outside. She won the award for the best overall business.

Landon is selling his truck. He really wants a manual so he’s trying to sell this one and find what he really wants. $15,000

1999 dodge 3500 4x4 quad cab. 5.9 Cummins diesel. Everything works as it should. Excellent interior for a 2nd gen. No cracks in dash. No rust. Very nice flat bed. New brakes, front tires, fuel filter and water separator. Aftermarket K&N intake and FASS fuel. Just changed the coolant and transmission fluid and filter and adjusted the rear transmission band.

Trying to set up the hot wire fencing so the cows can get some water in the new area we’re keeping them in. The boys had some difficulty and we laughed a little from the bank. Farming life is a good life even when it’s blazing hot.

We had a large rat make a nest in the shop vac out in the feed shed. We brought the top of the shop vac to the house where we could see better. Finally got it to come out and our dog was quite pleased with herself for catching it. Fun times!

Time to cut another hay field. Hauling the equipment a few miles down the road isn’t ideal but it worked out fine. Now to pray the rain away for a few days.

We decided to go to the cattle auction to see our cows go through. It was an interesting experience and we were very pleased with the prices they brought. Now to go home and wait for the check in the mail 💰

Our peaches have done well this year. I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to put them away for the rest of the year.
