Spent most of the weekend/early part of the week making chicken broth! I can’t get over how easy it is to make most things we use on a daily basis! Would anyone be interested in some kind of series on “how to make” things like this? 🤔🤎

Wanted to give a little update for those following along. Sunday, two weeks ago, we lost our little Moxley. She was just too tiny (a month and a half early) and too sick with the scours and her body just couldn’t handle it. 💔 We are heartbroken to say the least. But God was so kind and gave us this precious boy - Wayne - the same day! He is a feisty little fella who loves his milk and his brothers! We are so thankful for him and for all of the Lord’s goodness to us! We are still anxiously awaiting 3 more calves to be born in the next month or so!

“The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away - May the name of the Lord be praised.” - Job 1:21

Gathered our last bit of produce from the garden this morning. It’s sad but gratifying all at the same time! Next month, we’ll get garlic and onions in the ground and let them grow all winter and spring! What are you planting for the fall/winter?
