Good afternoon, everyone!

The Father’s Day cook is officially in the books, and what a cook it was! We had several new faces stop by today along with many of our regulars. Everything was picked up early, and we were wrapped up before noon. That’s what I’m talking about!

Now we’re sneaking up on the Fourth of July, and the list is getting mighty close to being full. If you’ve been thinking about getting on the schedule, now’s the time. I’d hate to turn anyone away because that’s just not how I like to do things, but we may be getting to that point. Get your name on the list and get in where you fit in!

Good morning and Happy Father’s Day!

We’re out here getting these drums fired up and ready to roll. Ribs will be hitting the grates shortly, followed up by some chicken. We’ve got to have everything wrapped up by 11:00 this morning, so it’s time to get the smoke rolling and make it happen.

Nothing better than spending Father’s Day around a few hot drums, good barbecue, and that sweet smell of hickory smoke in the air. Hope all the dads out there have a great day and get to spend some time with family

Good evening, everyone!

The drums are shut down, cooling off, and put away after another successful day at Redbirdsbar-b-q. We rolled out plenty of chicken, bologna, and ribs today, and it seems like that’s what folks are craving these days.

We had some new faces stop by, and I want to thank each and every one of you for the support. It means a lot. As always, our regulars showed up too, and we sure appreciate you all.

Those two extra racks of ribs I posted about found a good home when a couple of folks stepped up and claimed them. They turned out beautiful and went where they were supposed to go.

As for tomorrow not sure what will be going on, Father’s Day list is just about full. If you’ve been sitting on the fence trying to decide, you might want to jump in and get your name on the list before the last spots are gone.

Hello again! We just put the chicken and bologna on, and the ribs are about ready to hit the drum. The smoke is rolling and it’s smelling mighty good around here.

I’ve got two extra slabs of ribs seasoned up the right way with Elite BBQ Smokers Rib Rub, and they’re looking good already.

The first two people to send me a DM and put their name on them get them. Don’t wait around, because they won’t last long!

Good evening, everyone!

The new black Gateway Drum has been shut down for the night. We did a small rib and chicken cook on it this evening, and everything turned out really well. I want to thank everyone who stopped by today. I truly appreciate the support and all the positive feedback about the new drum.

Today I cooked some ribs using Elite BBQ Smokers Sweet Rib Rub, and let me tell you, those ribs turned out awesome. The color that rub puts on ribs is outstanding, and it’s definitely going to be seeing a lot more action on my Gateway Drums going forward.

Now it’s time to start thinking about Father’s Day Sunday. We’d like to fill up all four drums and roll some smoke all weekend long. If you’re thinking about ribs, pulled pork, chicken, or bologna, you know what to do.

Good afternoon, everyone!

Well, I got the old Black Beauty fired up and rolling this afternoon. We’ve got some ribs on and, let me tell you, you can’t get those needles any straighter than this—locked in at 300° and just cruising along. This new Gateway Drum is serious business and it’s already smelling mighty good around here.

I may throw some chicken on a little later before I shut her down and let her rest before the weekend. Nothing better than watching that clean smoke roll and knowing good barbecue is on the way.
