Good evening, Redbird Nation! 🔥🐦

Well… I guess it’s finally time to let the cat out of the bag and show y’all what we’ve been working on behind the scenes!

Redbird’s Bar-B-Q has officially been approved by the Health Department to move forward with our new BBQ trailer! 🔥🔥🔥

This has taken a lot of time, planning, phone calls, paperwork, and thought to put together. But with the support y’all have shown us, we feel like the time is right to take Redbird’s Bar-B-Q to the next level.

This new trailer will give us the opportunity to do more events, catering, and bigger cooks and take Redbird’s Bar-B-Q places we simply couldn’t before.

But don’t worry — we’re not changing who we are. We’ll still be firing up those drums, rolling that good smoke, and doing our “Get in where you fit in” BBQ just like always. That’s where this whole thing started, and we’re not leaving it behind.

We’ve put a lot of work, thought, and heart into making this happen. Without the support y’all have given us from the very beginning, I don’t know that we would’ve ever taken this step. Every order, every DM, every share, every recommendation, and every person who has come back for more helped make this possible.

Now I also need to address something important:

A while back, my personal page was hacked, and since then our original Redbird’s Bar-B-Q page has been taken over by Facebook in a way that has limited what we can do. We can’t use all the features we used to, and it has made it harder for us to operate the page the way we need to.

Because of that, we’ve started a new official page:
Redbird’s Bar-b-q LLC

This new food trailer is the perfect time for a fresh start, and we will be moving everything over to this new page going forward. I would really appreciate it if y’all would go follow Redbird’s Bar-B-Q LLC so we can continue growing and building without the limitations we’ve been dealing with.

There’s still plenty of work ahead of us, but Redbird’s Bar-B-Q is growing — and we’re just getting started.

Good evening, Redbird Nation! 🔥🐦

I want to thank everyone who stopped by today and picked up some FREE samples of our Redbird’s Chicken Bombs and wings! I really appreciate all the feedback y’all have given us. That’s the only way we can keep improving, trying new things, and making the food coming off these drums better every time.

I also want to thank everyone who reached out during the week asking when we were cooking again—before I ever even made a Facebook post. Y’all have no idea how much that means to me. To have people looking forward to the next Redbird’s cook is absolutely awesome, and I appreciate every one of you!

We’ll keep experimenting, listening to y’all, and working to make Redbird’s Bar-B-Q better every time we fire up those drums.

I’ll be checking back in sometime this week. Until then, I hope everybody has a great week!

We’ve been doing a little experimenting the last couple of weekends, and we just pulled a dozen of the new Redbird Chicken Bombs off the drum!

Just wanted to put these out here and let y’all get a look at them. 👀🔥 Let me know what you think—is this something you’d be interested in trying, if so let me know.

They sure look delicious, but now comes the important part… taste testing! 😋 I’m about to put a few of these Smoke Bombs to the test, and I’ll let y’all know how they turn out.

It’s a little warm outside, but I’ll tell you what—we’ve got WINGS, and we’ve got WINGS! These things are starting to take off around here!

If you haven’t gotten in yet, I don’t know what to tell you! 😂 We’re getting everything dialed in because college football is right around the corner, and we’re working on some Redbird’s Wing Specials for game days! 🏈🔥

We’re getting everything ready for tomorrow, and we’ve got some GOOD barbecue headed for the drums!

We’ve got ribs, chicken, and let me tell you—y’all are really starting to warm up to these smoked wings! We’ve got a TON of wings to cook tomorrow. 🔥🍗

We’ve also had several orders for that smoked cabbage, and there just might be a couple of surprises coming on the side menu tomorrow. 👀🔥

We’ve still got a little room left on the drums, so if you need some lunch tomorrow or want to make supper easy tomorrow night, you know what to do.
