Tuesday was Dave’s LAST DAY on our unit. 🥹

Dave is one of two males who work on our unit, and naturally, we give him hell every single day. I’m pretty sure he secretly enjoys it. 😂

He called me Lindsay for the first six months I was on the unit. I corrected him every. single. day. His response? He’d laugh and say, “Okay, Lindsay!” 🤦‍♀️😂

We can always tell which chairs Dave has been working in because the IV poles are damn near touching the ceiling. I have to practically jump to hang medicine on them. Apparently, Dave’s version of ergonomics is just make "Leslie work for it.” 😂

We say goodbye to our friend. As much as we give you s**t, we’re really going to miss you. ❤️

Dave loves the cakes I make, so I gave him a few options for his last-day cake and let him choose. He picked Lemon Cheesecake Bundt Cake* 🍋🍰

So, on Dave’s last day in Chemo & Infusion, we celebrated the only way we know how—with cake, chaos, and probably a little harassment. 😂

Dave, thank you for all the laughs, for putting up with us, and for being such a fun part of our little unit family.

We’re going to miss you, cease and desist bestie. ❤️

I’m getting ready to place my next coffee order for both medium and dark roast, and I have two delicious flavors to choose from:

☕ Cinnamon Coffee Cake

The roaster requires 5 bags of the same flavor per order, so if you’d like to grab a bag (or two!) of flavored, medium or dark roast, let me know ASAP so I can get the order in!
