...and they made it. Bentley thinks it's Christmas morning because, it's sunny, dry and warm, what more could a 'kid' ask for lol. Ari is just enamoured with some neighboring cows and hounds haha. Big thanks to Jackie and Nick for getting these guys down here, despite a few interesting moments on the way and to Karin for letting the boys enjoy their winter with her.

To say that I'm proud of this pair this weekend is an understatement. Jackie and Taco's first time together in the Adult Hunters. Less then 10 shows and the first time in the 3' for this great young horse, coming home with a second in the Classic, two 3rds, two 4ths and a 5th. (Sorry my phone died for your classic round :/)

Another Shout out to the Lehigh Equestrian Team. Everyone did great today. Congrats to Devyn on her first win! Lots of good riding and ribbons for everyone. What I am most proud of is the horsemanship and camaraderie this team has and continues to grow!! Great job riding, taking care of each other and taking care of the unicorns that Bentley, Star and Lucky were again today :)

So super proud of these 3 today representing LUET at the DeSales show. They've been working hard and it paid off today with great rides! Three 1st places, two 2nd places, High Point Team AND Madison was High Point Rider. Bentley, Lucky, Star and Hersh also came to play today and also helped their riders get first and seconds! Big thanks to Jackie and Delana for taking care of and schooling the CsF horses today.

Super proud of this crew today! Lehigh kicked off the first show of the season and with many setbacks including weather worked hard to put on a nice show as well as support each other. You all were wonderful and rode great, it's going to be a fun season. I also want to thank my baby sitters (for me, not Emi) Tracey and Delana! Thanks for all of your help and for feeding me. Thanks to Chris for being an awesome horse show Dad and Em for being the best horse show baby. My mom for staying up til well past 2am helping me fix our program and run errands. Jess for letting us crash her farm and ride her horses and Alexis, Megan, and Joy for bringing some more great horses for us to use. It was also so fun to see Dana (on a traitor team) competing and not schooling ...it's like coming full circle from 9 years old with that one ;)..til next time

Congratulations to Jackie, Lizzie, and Madison on a great week up at HITS Saugerties. Everyone rode great, the horses were wonderful and Emilia was a superstar horse show baby.
Jackie and Taco came home with two 3rds, two 5ths and some new found lead changes in the hunter ring ;). This young horse is just at the beginning of what will definitely be a great hunter career.
Madison and Bentley came home with a 1st, two 2nds, two 3rds, two 5ths a 6th and a 7th in the equitation and jumpers
Lizzie did a phenomenal job moving from pony to horse and getting her feet wet in the equitation ring and jumpers on Lucky, and learning to turn ;) looking forward to watching this pair grow and learn together.

After a 22 hr day for us yesterday, we managed to still have a good time and enjoy 'set up day.' Grateful for our great (skeleton)crew, saintly baby, and super supportive other half. :)
