ATTENTION: BE FOREWARNED!!!!
I was really hoping when I spoke with Benjamin at Gosch toyota that we were going to be treated with respect and given a good deal. We were told that the price of the Prius we wanted "Before" rebates was $27,000. Then they jacked up the price to $29,000 and low balled us on our trade in. We were actually yelled at when we told them that we went on Edumnds.com and KellyBluebook.com to find the true trade in value of our car. They yelled, "They don't buy cars do they". We should have walked out right then but we were trying to be fair and keep the deal here in town, and yes we were tired, which is no excuse, I know. The final insult was when I got home and found out that we were screwed out of our $500 rebate when it was added into the price of the car and "then" taken off at the end, so we actually did not get a rebate. I will not be back the next time I want a car and will be sure and tell anyone that I know not to shop with this dealership. We were treated very well at Gosch Ford, but this experience was HORRIBLE!!!!
Follow up: Got a call back from Chad. Very aggressive man swearing that he gave us a great deal. BS!!! When you quote a price and then change it and screw people out of their rebate that is called do**he bag tactics. Again we got a GREAT DEAL at Gosch Ford but not this place. We should have left when we were being strong armed but didn't. We did not want to make a scene and felt pressured. This is not a "Buyer's Remorse" post, this is called being angry and stating it. Be careful and really look over your paper work before you sign ANY thing with this dealership.
