HENDERSON! I am doing a small little test run this weekend on a self serve porch bakery ! I ran a cottage bakery in another state for about seven years before I moved here. Since moving here I have become a teacher and I have fallen in love with teaching. With that said, I do miss baking snd still get that baking itch so I thought this might be a good way to get my baking fix in when I have a little extra time!

I just am doing Cookies today and tomorrow , but hoping to expand in the future. Jumbo cookies are $3 or 2 for $5 . Snickerdoodles are $2

Hours: 6-9PM tonight (Friday)
7 AM- 12PM (Saturday)
Or until sold out.

Hi friends in Oakdale and surrounding towns,today is the last day to order! I’ll be driving down next weekend. Pickup will be at my Sisters house, and I will message you all the details!

Again this is to help support my classroom this year. I’d rather you get something in return than just post my Amazon wishlist! I have 75 kids between 3 classes so it’s a big task to supply for and get ready! I really appreciate all the love and support. 🫶🏼

I don’t get to do too much baking anymore since my focus is on teaching, but every once in a while I get an order that I can take and it just brings back all the memories! Loved being able to create this for a special 15 year old! 🖤

Fun fact: I went to college and started with the hopes of doing Elementary Education. I quickly dropped that when I started to have the doubts. I wasn’t patient enough, I didn’t feel worthy of having so many kids educations in my hands, and the self negative talk led me to a path of culinary. I’m not mad about it, I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to have that time in my life to bake, be a part of memories , and have customers turn lifetime friends forever.

I do miss it, in fact I spent my morning sketching out a future porch bakery I could set up. I didn’t realize they could go hand in hand. Two passions, two dreams, and so fulfilling.

But as I shopped for my classroom today, it was a little emotional. Second year of teaching and I could not be more excited. The truth is , I was capable all along, and it’s filled a hole in my heart that was waiting for hundreds of school kids to fill. I’m grateful that all along I just needed to be believed in. And I’ve found that with who I work with. Truly blessed.

I’m grateful for my old customers who are placing orders to help me financially get my new (yes I’m moving classrooms) decor and things needed to give these kids a place of safety, love and learning.

For those who want to place an order, I will keep preorders open for another week. Again, this is for Oakdale and surrounding areas. I’ll be driving down the 19th. Thank you for all your support!

And Vegas / Henderson area, maybe you’ll just be seeing a cutesy porch bakery pop up soon enough. Ya know, when we aren’t dying from 1000 degree weather. 🤪

So grateful for this life . Thank you Jesus for finding a way to have two passions stay alive. 🫶🏼

I’m raising money to help me purchase things for my classroom this year and would love your support. After getting a year under my belt , I know a bit more of what could help me build a more successful classroom. Instead of posting my Amazon List, I figured this would be a better way because YOU get something in return 🖤

Pickup will be at my sisters house which I will message you details closer to. Please keep in mind these cookies will be baked, boxed and wrapped in seran wrap to seal in freshness on the 18th. They’ll make their journey to California on the 19th, and into your hands by the evening.
