Creasman Farms Creasman Farms is a third-generation farm located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. We specialize in heirloom and new varieties of apples.

We are branching out to offer you peaches, blueberries, blackberries, pears, and summer vegetables. Baked goods, cider, and apple butter are also available.

Year after year the traditions hold steadfast for our farm. Apples grown for generations on the land, tended to and grown with love and resilience, hands that harvest the crop and bake them into something so special you can taste the memory for years. Our homemade crumble top apple pie is pure bliss - we bring it back year after year leaving you wanting it more and more as the memory reminds you of so much more than a slice of pie. It reminds you of home, of grandma, of childhood, of the good days, of granddaddy on the tractor, of baking with your mom. Have some pie and a memory with us this weekend at the NC Apple Festival on main street in Hendersonville. This is 80 years of sweet traditions. Friday is almost here to kick off NC Apple Festival !

Our apple peelers are cranking, our ovens are heating up and all the sugar and spices have been measured. Baked timeless classics return this weekend at our 28th year of participating in the North Carolina Apple Festival 🍎 Our unique offering and fan favorite: The Chunky Apple Cake. Freshly harvested Ginger Gold apples hand peeled and diced, gently folded into batter with cinnamon, spice and whole pecans baked to golden brown perfection in family Bundt pans. The recipe passed down from generations in our apple farming family tweaked to perfection by our sweet Cici. We only make a select number of these for the weekend. Don’t miss out on this serenity. The orchard has declared Fall is here even though the thermostat hasn’t. Now harvesting fan favorite, Swiss Gourmet, as well as heirloom Cortland and Macintosh. We’ll have an apple spread at farmers market tomorrow.

OPENING DAY is Sunday September 13th 2026! We will open September 13th and be open Sundays only through October 25th! Our hours are 12-5 pm. See all the details below plus a couple new additions this Fall to give back to our local community that we love so much

Hibernation mode: OFF. Just a few weeks ago the orchard was tucked in for a cold, long winters nap — first with an ice glaze and then a pure white blanket. It was nice to end the sizable snow drought on the farm. And this weekend we did a spin and spent the weekend working in short sleeves. While a slower arrival of spring was desired, nature is waking up quickly. Peach buds are swelling and apple buds are approaching silver tip. We’ll be watching the weather temperatures closely for the next two months as we are so hopeful for a strong crop set. And y’all know we weren’t really in hibernation mode — before Christmas we finished pruning, after the new year we chopped all pruning brush trimmings, we’ve been doing lots of equipment maintenance and our Kameron has been a wizard on the chainsaw getting old trees out just in time for new apple tree planting this week. Planning, planting and busy work will be happening over the next few weeks for the 2026 season, let’s go! 🍎
