Creasman Farms is a third-generation farm located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. We specialize in heirloom and new varieties of apples.

We are branching out to offer you peaches, blueberries, blackberries, pears, and summer vegetables. Baked goods, cider, and apple butter are also available.

Hibernation mode: OFF. Just a few weeks ago the orchard was tucked in for a cold, long winters nap — first with an ice glaze and then a pure white blanket. It was nice to end the sizable snow drought on the farm. And this weekend we did a spin and spent the weekend working in short sleeves. While a slower arrival of spring was desired, nature is waking up quickly. Peach buds are swelling and apple buds are approaching silver tip. We’ll be watching the weather temperatures closely for the next two months as we are so hopeful for a strong crop set. And y’all know we weren’t really in hibernation mode — before Christmas we finished pruning, after the new year we chopped all pruning brush trimmings, we’ve been doing lots of equipment maintenance and our Kameron has been a wizard on the chainsaw getting old trees out just in time for new apple tree planting this week. Planning, planting and busy work will be happening over the next few weeks for the 2026 season, let’s go! 🍎

Our 2025 season will end this Saturday at farmers market. Last chance for fresh apples and cider until harvest begins in the summer & fall of 2026. As this season comes to a close, we thank you. We thank you for hanging with us and enduring the challenges. We thank our customers for showing up and purchasing our less than pretty crop, for coming to u pick when the varieties weren’t in endless supply, and supporting us this year. We thank our very special community partners who were the constant for us and kept us afloat. And we thank our hardworking staff from the orchard crew to our sales team - our operations would not exist without you. The hail damage really did on a number on us this year and we’re ready to put it to bed and start afresh. We’ve got a lot of work to do around the farm this winter. We’ll check in from time to time. Prayers for a cold winter, a bountiful blossom and solid crop set in the coming Spring and we will see you back at market in summer of 2026 for year 40+ of farming! Yes, over 40 years strong!

Special notes about apple cider - stock up this Saturday if you want it through the holiday! Our small batch, carefully blended and thoughtfully pressed fresh cider pressing is almost done for the year, get it while you can!

Thanksgiving farmers market just might be the most bountiful of all.. it’s a last call hustle bustle Saturday morning to collect all the local goods before the big day next week. Of course we will have allllll the apples for your pies, cheese boards, chutney or whatever is on your menu! Plus fresh cider to mull or serve chilled. Our farm vendors will have veggies, meat, eggs, cheese and everything else! Remember, early bird gets the goods - we’ve been selling out early. See y’all in the morning! (Market token programs for SNAP recipients will continue tomorrow at North and City market).

Peak Fall showed out this week on the farm! Just in time before a hard freeze on Sunday. Good news for you, our freshly harvested apples will be at market in the morning. LAST CALL for u pick until next fall! Sunday afternoon is your last chance to visit the orchard to pick apples! Here’s what you need to know to make plans for your visit:
🍏Varieties available to pick: Pink Lady & Gold Rush
🍎 Several other varieties available pre picked
🍁 Fresh pressed cider by the half gallon and frozen cider slushies
🥧 Baked goods available, but please remember we are a homemade small batch kitchen so please call ahead and reserve if you want something specific
🦌 Seconds/Deer apples available by bushel - $10 a box for less than perfect apples and are perfect if you want to make sauce, pie filling or other endless options (can’t beat this deal! time to stock up!)
🚗 Yes, we’re free admission and still free parking
🐶 Of course your pups are welcome, but must be on a leash, well mannered and picked up after
